Additional USD 100,000 in Cash from the Chinese Government In Support of Disaster Relief Efforts in the Philippines  

On 29 September 2009, the Chinese Government decided to provide an additional amount of USD 100,000 in cash to the Philippine Government as humanitarian assistance for its disaster relief efforts.

Up till now, the disaster relief assistance from China totaled USD 140,000. The previous assistance includes USD 10,000 from the Chinese Embassy and USD 30,000 from Huawei Technologies Philippines, Inc.
