On 14 August 2009, Ambassador Liu Jianchao held a press roundtable at a local coffee shop where witnessed a presence of more than 20 journalists, editors, news anchors and columnists from the Philippine print media and TV networks, Filipino-Chinese press, and local offices of international news agencies. Ambassador Liu briefed the audience on the achievements, developments and prospects of the economic cooperation and trade between China and the Philippines. Ambassador Liu also took questions from the floor on China-Philippine cooperation in such fields as infrastructure, agriculture, energy and tourism. Ambassador Liu also shared with the press group his views on some regional and international issues.
