Ambassador Liu Jianchao delivered a speech at the Philippine Ambassadors’ Foundation Inc. on April 28, 2009, elaborating China’s position on the International Financial Crisis, China-ASEAN cooperation and China-Philippine relations. Ambassador Liu introduced the positive measures that China has taken as a responsible big country, urged the international community seek to cooperation to counter the crisis, reiterated China’s determination and sincerity to further cooperation with ASEAN, and called on the two countries to strengthen collaboration and achieve win-win outcome.
Ambassador Liu also took Q&A session, replying questions concerning Chinese Diplomacy and Defence policies, international economic cooperation as well as regional situation.
