On the occasion of the 110^th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of the Philippines, on behalf of the Government and People of the People's Republic of China, and in my own name, I would like to express my warm congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency, and through you to the Government and People of the Republic of the Philippines.

Under the leadership of Your Excellency, the Philippines has made continuous progress in the economic growth and national development, and played an increasingly active role on international and regional matters. I deeply believe that with the efforts of the people of your country, the Philippines would have a better future.

China and the Philippines are good neighbors separated only by a narrow strip of water. The leaders of the two countries enjoy close interactions, the cooperation in all sectors continues to intensify, and the bilateral relations have entered a new phase of all-round development. I would like to work with Your Excellency, and make relentless efforts to further promote the China-Philippine friendship and mutual beneficial cooperation.
