Chinese Embassy Donated Masks To Immigration Officers in Manila Airport

On behalf of Ambassador Huang Xilian, Counsellor and Consul General Luo Gang gave two thousand facial masks to Grifdon Medina, Chief of Port Operations of the Philippine Bureau of Immigration  as a friendly gesture to help the front line immigration officers.


Luo introduced the measures taken by Chinese government in fighting the outbreak of the novel coronavirus and expressed confidence in fighting the battle. He said that countries should strengthen their cooperation and coordination when facing with this kind of public health emergency. By joining hands and working closely together, we could win the battle sooner, he reiterated.


Grifdon thanked the Chinese government for its support and assured the agency's commitment to facilitate smooth people-to-people movement between the two countries.
