Chinese Embassy Turned Over Humanitarian Aid to the Philippine Red Cross
    On 16 February 2017, Counselor Sun Yi of the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines turned over the humanitarian aid of USD 50,000 from the Red Cross Society of China to the Philippine Red Cross. The humanitarian aid will be adding strength to the disaster relief efforts on the Philippine side after a recent earthquake hitting the southern Philippines on 10 February.

    Ms. Esmeralda Villanueva, Fund Generation Director of the Philippine Red Cross, accepted the aid and expressed heart-felt  appreciation to the generosity shown by the Chinese side.
