Chinese Embassy turned over humanitarian aid of USD 100,000 to the Philippine Red Cross

    On October 27, Madame He Xiangqi, charge d'affaires of the Chinese Embassy turned over USD 100,000 (equaling 4.8 million Pesos) humanitarian aid from the Red Cross Society of China to the Philippine Red Cross, for the disaster relief of the Filipinos in the regions hit by Typhoon Haima (Lawin).

   Secretary General Oscar Palabyab of the Philippine Red Cross expressed thanks over the generous aid from the Chinese side.
