Notice On The Opening Of The Chinese Visa Application Service Center In Manila

To provide more convenient and comfortable services to Chinese visa applicants in the Philippines, starting from January 29, 2024, the Embassy will entrust the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Manila (hereinafter referred to as the "Visa Application Center") to accept visa applications of ordinary passports holders. Applicants shall log on to the Visa Application Center website (www.visaforchina.cn) to fill in the application form online and then go to the Visa Application Center for processing. The Embassy will no longer directly accept visa applications from ordinary passport holders.

Working days: Monday to Friday (Except for holidays)

For application submission: 9:00 to 15:00 (Rush service before 11:30AM)

For visa collection: 9:00 to 16:00.

2. The Visa Application Center has no decision on visa approval. The Embassy will decide whether to issue a visa, its validity, duration of stay and number of entries based on the applicant's personal circumstances. The consular officer may request the applicant to provide additional supporting documents or supplementary materials according to the specific situation, or an interview.

3. In addition to the visa fee and express service fee collected on behalf of the Embassy, the Visa Application Center will charge a certain amount of service fee. For more information, please contact the Visa Application Center or view its website. 

The Visa Center will be in trial run from January 29 to February 2 (no service fees will be charged during that period), and will be officially open from February 5, 2024.

4. Except for the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Manila, the Embassy has not entrusted other institutions or individuals to accept Chinese visa applications. Applicants are kindly advised to be careful with relevant information.

5. Applicants holding diplomatic or service/official passports or applying for Chinese diplomatic, courtesy or service visas shall still submit applications directly to the Embassy (Address:2nd Floor, the World Center, 330 Sen. Gil J. Puyat Avenue, Makati City).
